Whens the new update

This is still the best 8-bit style game I have ever played but when is the next update. Im dying to know what is going to be added. Maybe a new map, A new fish, A new story line, plot twist, new gun(God machine gun). I really want to see this game under go new changes. Plz... with sprinkles on top
